Enjoy the fall colors, they're improving day-by-day.

Grasses range from knee high to chest high, shorter if recently mowed. You'll find the most enjoyable hiking on the trails that have been mowed - scroll down for mowing details. For mountain biking, you may find drier (more solid) conditions on some of the West Side trails.

Insect activity is relatively low, but keep the bug juice handy.

The east half of the West Side Trails was mowed in mid September.

Trail mowing on the East Side began June 18th, but was interrupted as of July 20th due to equipment problems. We hope to resume East Side mowing operations by mid September. Click on this link for mowing updates.
